My BoxyCharm came in very late this month, it only arrived on the 26th, hence why this is going up so late.
I really loved my BoxyCharm this month, which is great because I was contemplating cancelling my subscription.
In case you aren’t aware of what BoxyCharm is, it’s a beauty subscription that cost $21 USD per month and comes with 4-5 full size products, from indie brands to higher end brands.
Now onto the good stuff!

These white brushes with the pink tips are so aesthetically pleasing! Incredibly girly, they are also nicely weighted synthetic brushes that hand powder products well. I’ve been using the largest brush to apply bronzer, but I use a light hand as the brush picks up a surprising amount of product. The medium brush would be greater for contouring as it stiffer but just as soft. The smallest brush is a great flat brush for eyeshadow application. It’s not as soft as the 2 larger brushes but works just as well.
Vintage by Jessika Liebskind – Eyeliner Pencil in Jet Black ($21 USD)
I was really surprised by this pencil. Normally I steer very clear of wooden eye pencils as they tend to be stiff and painful to use, however this is definitely the best one I have tried. It’s deceivingly a gel liner pencil that doesn’t tug, is richly pigmented, and holds onto my very watery waterline for a good 4-6 hours. It’s not going to convert me from my Chanel & Bobbie Brown liner pots, however it didn’t make me unhappy to receive it.
Pür Plumping Lip Exfoliator ($17 USD)
This lip exfoliator was wonderful to receive this month. The winter takes such a toll on the lips, and this scrub is very easy to use and smells minty. I’m not a huge Pür Cosmetics fan, but this works just as good as any other lip exfoliator.
Ofra Pop-Up Palette & Blush in Winter Rose Glow ($50 USD)
Yay! I love trying out Ofra products so I genuinely jumped for joy when I saw this! The empty palette in this duo is a great size, and the blush is a warm rose with a slight shimmer. Easy to blend and highly pigmented. My only gripe about Ofra products is that they don’t label the actual pan of the blush, which makes it annoying for repurchasing, or just remembering product names in general. I really hope that they start doing this, as most brands already do.
CoverFX Shimmer Veil Eyeshadow in Amethyst ($28 USD)
This was my favourite product in the box, as I was actually planning on purchasing one of the colours to try. If you’re thinking about it, do it! Awesome pigmentation, super creamy, and dries down completely. I have my eye on Moonstone and Magic because I really love the formula. Great job CoverFX!
The total value of my box this month was $146 USD! I’m really happy with the products I received this month, and will definitely use most of them.
