Chanel Illuminators & Eyeshadow Palette

Happy Wednesday!

I have a special post for you all!

I ordered the Chanel Le Signe Du Lion Illuminating Powder in Or Blanc and Or Rose, along with the Neapolis eyeshadow palette.

None of these items are currently available in Canada, but thank goodness for P.O. Boxes!

Chanel Le Signe Du Lion Illuminating Powder in Or Blanc and Or Rose ($70 USD) (Limited Edition)

The texture of these highlighters is incredibly smooth and almost creamy.

They are not glittery at all, just shimmery and glowing.

I found that they go on quite lightly, but are easy to build up.

They are not blinding, just beautifully elegant and classy. Typical Chanel!

You most certainly do not need both, however the do both work on fair skintones.

I do prefer Or Rose for warmer looks, while Or Blanc goes well with cool-toned looks.

Chanel Les 9 Ombres – Multi-Effects Eyeshadow Palette ($70 USD) (Limited Edition)

Chanel has significantly improved their eyeshadow formulas over the years, and this palette seems to be the grand accumulation of all their hard work!

The colours are easy to blend, have a great wear time, are crazy pigmented, and just so very versatile.

It’s a lovely palette to travel with because you have your matte shades, neutrals, pops of colour, and shimmers.

The blue and the green catch the eye the most, and they are beautifully pigmented, however the rest of the colours are very neutral and great for everyday use.

The palette is organized into 3 sections, but you can obviously use it however you choose.

For those of you playing around with the idea of purchasing the Ombre Premiere in 810 Pourpre Profond, the bronzy shade in this palette is an easy dupe! 810 has more of a plum undertone, however it’s such a tiny difference, you wouldn’t be able to tell once on the eyes.

I’m so happy with these items. I’ve had my eye on them from the moment I saw them. A wonderful, and worthy addition to my collection.

Do any of these catch your eye?

[…] The eyeshadow palette I brought with me was the Chanel Neapolis ($70 USD) nine-pan for Spring/Summer 2018. I’ve done a full review on this already that I will link here. […]
