Chanel has come out with their Neapolis Collection, created by Lucia Pica.
This collection is inspired by her hometown of Naples, Italy.
The colours are quite vibrant, but very wearable, and definitely instill a new season vibe!
I have purchased the Ombre Premièr in 824 Verderame ($40 CAD) and the Rouge Coco Gloss in 794 Poppea ($37 CAD).
The eyeshadow palette is currently not available in Canada due to shipping errors, or so that is what I was told at the Chanel counter.
I will be purchasing the eyeshadow palette as soon as I can get my hands on it!
First off, I would like to admit my slight obsession with the Illusion D’ombres & Ombre Premièr.
I have been collecting these for a few years and currently have 12 of them. (I will do a round up asap!)
This season’s Ombre Premièr is stunning! Its a beautiful forestgreen with a hint of teal.
I found it to be very wearable, and wore for over 8 hours without fading or creasing.
I have never tried out the Chanel Rouge Coco Gloss formula before, however I really liked the colour of Poppea, so I decided to try my luck.
These puppies have me converted! They are smooth and non-tacky, they feel just like a balm. They have a very slight scent, like a mild Dior Baume de Rose.
The colour is sheer but can be layered a bit. Without eating or drinking, these stayed for about 3 hours before fading away, leaving no tacky residue. I enjoyed the large applicator as it allowed for full application in only 1 swipe.
I’m very keen to try some more out. I already have my eye on 3 more!
I hope that you found this little review on a few of the items from the new collection helpful. I find that quality of each Chanel collection just gets better and better.
