My Five Holy Grail Makeup Products

I thought as a way to give you a feel for the kinds of products that I love, I would put together a list of my “Top 5 Holy Grail” makeup products.

No. 1: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution in Bond Girl ($39 CAD) (Permanent)

To say that I have a love for CT lipsticks is quite an understatement. I currently have 18 of the shades in my collection.

The colours she makes are unique, and incredibly comfortable to wear.

Bond Girl is my absolute favourite colour. It works basically anytime of the year.

The colour is a reddish-brown that just adds some depth to the face, within being overstated.

I’m currently running quite low on this guy, and will definitely repurchase shortly!

No. 2: Burberry Light Glow – Natural Blush in No2 Cameo ($47 CAD) (Permanent)

I’m very particular about blushes… I’m not a fan of strong colours that can make you look like a clown if you aren’t careful.

This blush looks like nothing special in the pan, however it is just the right amount of colour to add a light flush to a fair skintone.

This is also a gift with purchase, the full size comes with a little blush brush.

No. 3: Chanel Illusion D’Ombres in 97 New Moon ($40 CAD) (Permanent)

These little pots of goodness are “my precious”. If my house lights on fire, these would be the makeup products that I would save!

I have a lovely little collection, that brings me great joy every time that it is expanded.

My hands down favourite colour though, is 97 New Moon.

This colour… I wore it on my wedding day. It is the perfect rose gold glittery goodness with ZERO fallout.

It stayed put from 12noon to 5am! It brightens the eyes in a magical way. If you find this grab it, plus a backup!

No. 4: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder ($58 CAD) (Permanent)

I’ve tried powder after powder after powder, and none compare to this little beauty.

It’s perfect for touch ups (I keep one in my purse at all times), setting your under eye and rest of the face.

It has a slight colour to it, but it’s so finely milled that it never looks cakey.

I have 4 of these, two in shade 1 and two in shade 2, as I do tend to be more tanned in the summer.

No. 5: Chanel Plisse Lumiere de Chanel Illuminating Powder ($70 USD) (Limited Edition – Not Available Online Anymore)

Highlighters… If I could bathe in one makeup product, this would be one of them! I have quite a few, and to be honest, a highlighter would have to go out of its way to piss me off.

But this one… There is something special. It’s looks natural on the skin, but can be amped up when needed.

I really wish I had picked up a backup, but I didn’t know that I would love it so much.

You may still be able to pick it up at individual counters, as I managed to grab mine whilst in Vegas in December.

What are your holy grail products?

Have you tried any of mine?
